The School of Performing Arts (SOPA) has announced that Denise Mulholland and Theresa Lungaro-Mifsud will be joining it as heads of drama and dance respectively.

Denise has established herself as one of the leading acting coaches, directors and actresses on the island and will be co-ordinating the drama and musical theatre classes along with Teen Company.

The dance department in collaboration with Theresa Lungaro-Mifsud will be preparing students for the international examinations of ISTD, Cecchetti Classical Ballet as well as the vocational graded syllabi up to advanced level two.

All drama, music and dance classes will be held at Chiswick House School, Kappara, however senior dance students will also be given the opportunity to join senior classes at The Dance Workshop’s fully equipped studios in G’Mangia.

Lorraine Aquilina is the artistic director and Gillian Zammit will continue to run the music department, as well as taking on the role of SOPA principal.
