Compunet, part of the 6PM Group, has launched its online store at www.compunet.com.mt after the site underwent a revamp to provide customers with a more convenient way to shop from the comfort of their home or office.

Compunet’s new store features free deliveries to Malta and across the EU. More than 1,000 products are online include PCs, laptops and computer components, software and games, TVs and monitors, visual and audio equipment, cameras and mobile phones. Repair tracking, a new feature, enables customers handing in equipment or other products for repairs to track progress.

“The site features web pages which allow for straightforward orders, and new products and technologies will be added regularly,” 6PM plc chief technical officer Brian Zarb Adami said. “We see great potential in the local and EU’s e-commerce market, to offer customers choice, value and service through our online store.”

Set up in 1994 as a vendor of assembled PC, Compunet has evolved into a computer and electronics company providing solutions to both home and corporate users. It became part of the 6PM Group in 2011 and has provided the group with the infrastructure skills that complement the 6PM IT solution and services offering.

The company’s retail presence has also contributed to diversifying the group’s portfolio and allowed it to tap into the B2C market locally and abroad.
