I have been visiting Malta for 15 years and more and delight in going to Valletta, a fascinating, historical city.

This is a request to perhaps start a campaign for occasional seating between the bus station, down Republic Street, past the Wembley shop and down the flower kiosk, with seats on the square.

There is nowhere to sit in all these areas and it has allbeen pedestrianised.

After a serious illness (brain tumour and legs paralysed for a while) I now have difficulty walking distances and I am sure there are many older visitors like me.

I need to sit down from timeto time.

I only visited once during my recent three-week stay at the Fortina, because of this.

I hope that perhaps it is already in planning.

I look forward to my next visit in November 2016.
