As part of the celebrations in the run-up to Naxxar’s parish feast of The Nativity of Our Lady, an open day is being held tomorrow within the premises of the Għaqda Mużikali Marija Bambina – Banda Vittorja society.

During the open day, visitors will be able to admire the many artistic features present within the club as well as appreciate the work that is being done on the new dome being built on the premises.

The new dome is part of the latest embellishment project being carried out and will be finished in the coming two years. It is an interesting architectural gem which, when finished, will add further value to the premises.

The club houses over 10 works of art which are mostly ceiling paintings by the Gozitan Camilleri Cauchi family. One can also take in the craft work carried out in wood, drapes and stone, as can be appreciated at the music archive all the way to the chandeliers hewn out of wood found in the main hall.
