The Nationalist Party yesterday accused the Prime Minister of playing with people’s emotions by refusing to withdraw his claim that the power station extension at Delimara is a “cancer factory”, despite a study showing the air quality has not been affected.

It described as totally deceptive his comment that “the emissions became acceptable because the maximum limits were changed”.

The study, the PN said, spoke about air quality and not established standards for the gauging of emissions levels.
