PSV Eindhoven midfielder Luciano Narsingh could make his long-awaited comeback in the Champions League qualifier at Milan.

Coach Phillip Cocu has named Narsingh, Georginio Wijnaldum and Zakaria Bakkali in his 22-man squad for today’s second leg of the play-off which is level at 1-1 after the first leg (see also page 43).

Narsingh, who has been sidelined since sustaining a serious knee injury last December, re-turned to individual training at De Herdgang with PSV a fortnight ago and travelled with the rest of the squad to Milan.

Holland midfielder Wijnaldum was replaced during Saturday’s Eredivisie draw against Heracles with an ankle injury but was also named in Cocu’s squad for the San Siro clash tonight.

Bakkali sustained a muscular injury whilst on international duty with Belgium two weeks ago and missed PSV’s last two matches as a result – but he could come back into contention.
