Disney lovers are in for a treat at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. The Malta Philharmonic Or­chestra will present the original Disney live in concert production on Friday and Saturday.

The magical nights will include a repertoire of Dis­ney classics from films such as Alad­din, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as the hit songs from Frozen.

Singers from the sets of Disney will be joining the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra on stage.

Gaia Cauchi has been chosen by Disney to join in the event as well as a children’s choir under the direction of Gillian Zammit.

Highlights of the films will be projected during the show.

Sigmund Mifsud, CEO of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, said Malta is one of the very first countries in Europe that will be staging this new production.

The Friday and Saturday matinee shows are already sold out. A third show is being held on Saturday evening. Tickets can be bought from www.mccc.com.mt.
