JP Advertising put its heart and soul into Movember, a global movement aimed at raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

One of the company’s fundraising initiatives was to create a giant human moustache at Melita Football Club in Pembroke.

Staff members also took on the JPA Movember Challenge with determination by drawing an intricate illustration, designed by Glenn Ellul, on a two-metre-long moustache.

The team had its timer set, with a challenging 30 minutes on the clock. A live feed of their work in progress was linked via JPA’s You Tube channel to both the company’s website and Facebook page. Everyone was encouraged to donate money or share the live feed.

For every donation or Facebook share JPA received, extra minutes were added to the team’s time frame. The challenge was completed successfully. JPA Movember initiatives raised over €1,300.

Companies who donated and showed their support include Nestlé, Golden Harvest, Ice-Watch, Nescafé Dolce Gusto Malta, Foster Clark, Heineken, Charles Grech, Benna, Farsons and A&S Signs.
