As many as 77 per cent of all European men would like to hide their love handles and (beer) bellies by wearing shapewear, according to a survey by a

Dutch company.

Of all participants, 22 per cent knew what shapewear was and 56 per cent wore it not only because it looked better but also because it looked more masculine.

Only 11 per cent throught that wearing shapewear shirts and shorts was ridiculous.

A total of 43 per cent of the female participants knew that men were hiding their rolls of fat this way and 61 per cent welcomed this fact.

In fact, a major 58 per cent thought wearing shapewear made men elegant and distinct.

The moment the dutch company Shapewear for Men started selling shapewear in 2010, it was an enormous hit.

When the importer faced delivery problems, the company decided to develop its own improved version of shapewear.
