More than 580 businesses in Malta import goods from China, while there are more than 50 companies in Malta which export to China, according to the Maltese Chinese Chamber of Commerce which is promoting tomorrow’s conference organised by the China Import and Export Fair at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard.

The China Foreign Trade Centre and the Maltese Chinese Chamber of Commerce will sign an agreement at the end of the conference

The conference is being organised by the China Foreign Trade Centre, the commercial section of the Chinese Embassy in Malta and the Maltese Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

The president of the China Foreign Trade Centre, Wang Runsheng, will address the conference, which is being held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Mr Runsheng and Maurice Mizzi, president of the Maltese Chinese Chamber of Commerce will sign a cooperation agreement at the end of the conference.

Over 100 local businessmen, company representatives, importers and exporters have confirmed their attendance at the conference.
