Spanish international fashion brand Mango closed the 2012 financial year with a net profit of €113.4 million.

Following improvements during the first half of 2012 in merchandising, window dressing, the catalogue, the collection, prices, distribution and advertising, Mango has increased its profit by 79 per cent compared to 2011.

Last year, the brand created around 2,000 jobs worldwide, 70 per cent of which were for young people aged under 30. Of these, 334 jobs were in the domestic market.

Given the international presence of the brand, 84 per cent of turnover was generated in foreign markets, and 16 per cent in the domestic market.

During 2012, Mango increased its number of stores by 197, of which 17 were in Spain and foreign markets.

Mango MNG Holding currently has more than 12,000 employees worldwide and more than 2,600 retail outlets in 107 countries.
