How many times has a commission been set up by the Nationalist Party to conduct a post-election analysis? How many times have we heard the PN executive say they must listen to the people?

The electoral defeat shows that Lawrence Gonzi and his clique including the former Administration, must leave the party and make room for better leaders. Some former ministers have no place being in Parliament because they never tried to communicate with us. The marginal victory in the election of 2008 should have been an eye opener, yet no one took any action.

Mainly, the blame should lie with Gonzi, Paul Borg Olivier and Edgar Galea Curmi as well as those ministers who showed nothing but arrogance and who, unfortunately, are still in Parliament.

We need a new party made up of a young and open-minded generation, ready and willing to listen to and understand the people whose votes and future it depends upon.

I hope others will follow suit and write and speak out about their frustrations, with no fear.
