I see that the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority has not answered questions put by The Times regarding the warnings issued by the director-general of consumer affairs against Fantasy Tours (October 30).

This failure to respond by the competition and consumer affairs watchdog is difficult to comprehend given that the regulator has a dedicated senior information officer (Odette Vella) who is also the weekly consumer affairs correspondent of The Sunday Times.

I thought The Times would welcome this reminder when again asking the MCCAA to state their position more clearly and provide information to the consumer via The Times as they certainly do not provide such information to my (and many others’) personal requests nor on their website!
