Another batch of a Spanish brand of canned anchovy fillets in olive oil has been recalled by the health authorities for containing high levels of histamine.

A batch was recalled for the same reason last month.

The Health Directorate warned consumers not to eat fillets of the brand Deep Blue in a 48 gram metal tin inside a carton box. The best before date on the box is April 2015 and the lot number is B12.

High levels of histamine can cause reactive symptoms, the common ones being headaches, migraines, nausea and anxiety.
