Come 2 Me (Ejjew Għandi) is a monthly meeting organised by Fr Hayden Williams together with the fraternity of the Franciscan Apostles and Disciples. Inspired by the words of Jesus, these meetings are open to everyone but especially those who are going through difficult times in life, those who would like to rediscover their faith and those who are hurt and sick.

Fr Hayden especially invites those whose lifestyle does not necessarily reflect the gospel.

These meetings have five main characteristics:

1. Fraternity – all those attending are encouraged to create a sense of community and mutual openness;

2. Word of God – Fr Hayden always delivers a contemporary message based on the Bible;

3. Worship – a good part of the meeting is dedicated to eucharistic adoration led by a worship team that sings contemporary Christian music;

4. Healing – at the end of the meeting Fr Hayden leads prayer for those who need physical, spiritual and emotional healing;

5. Charity ­– no money is collected in these meetings but those attending are invited to bring with them some food and daily needs to be given for charity.

The next Come 2 Me will be held tomorrow at St Anthony’s Capuchin church, Għajn Dwieli, Paola, between 7.30 and 9pm.
