An exhibition of some of the best works by Maltese pioneers of modern art, Emvin Cremona and Willie Apap, was inaugurated last Sunday at St Joseph’s band club, Għajnsielem. The exhibition, themed ‘Sacred Arts’, featured several exhibits from private collections. Speeches were made by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono, MP Anton Refalo, art critic Mark Sagona and band club president Gino Cauchi. Minister Chris Said was also present. The exhibition, which was blessed by Għajnsielem archpriest Canon Frankie Bajada, will be open today from 2 to 10 p.m. Entrance is free.
