Two teenage boys were yesterday placed under probation for three years after putting pressure on two girls to give them oral sex in games similar to spin the bottle.

The games, which took place in July and August of 2009 at the Marsascala football ground, would start out with kissing but led to the girls, aged 13 and 14, exposing their breasts.

They then carried out sexual acts on the boys.

The boys’ details, including their age, cannot be publishedby court order because theyare both minors.

Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani said there was no evidence that the girls were threatened to carry out the acts. It was all down to peer pressure which at their tender age they could not overcome.

She took into consideration the young men’s admission before placing them underprobation.

They are not to communicate with the girls in any way and their probation officer must present a report about their progress to the court every four months.
