Trabzonspor have announced a double player swoop after signing Kevin Constant from Milan and Oscar Cardozo from Benfica.

Guinean defender Constant, who joined Milan from Genoa in 2012, will be one of two new recruits for head coach Vahid Halilhodzic as he follows experienced forward Cardozo to Trabzon in the north east of Turkey.

A statement published on Trabzonspor’s official website announced an agreement had been reached with Milan over the transfer of the 27-year-old Constant, while confirming Cardozo is expected to arrive at the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium today.

A reported summer target of newly-promoted English Premier League club Leicester City, the 31-year-old Cardozo scored 112 league goals in 175 appearances for Benfica.

He played at the 2010 World Cup for Paraguay in South Africa.

Constant made 45 Serie A appearances across his two seasons at the San Siro.

Notably, he walked off the pitch in the face of alleged racist abuse from Sassuolo fans during a pre-season friendly in July 2013.
