A group of 54 ICT graduates who obtained a degree from Middlesex University, UK, through STC Training, Pembroke, recently held a graduation ceremony at the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana.

Sixty per cent of the graduates obtained a first class degree in either of the two BSc programmes – Internet Applications Development and Information Technology and Networking.

STC training CEO Patrick Pullicino remarked that all the students could feel proud that their studies were a resounding success because every graduate has been employed in IT for an average of a year, with some having been in employment for almost three years.

The ceremony was also attended by Martin Looms, dean and pro-vice-chancellor, from the university’s School of Engineering and Information Sciences. The event was concluded with a reception in the hotel’s garden.

STC Training has been collaborating with Middlesex University for the past three years and further integration with the university is gradually turning STC into an extension of the Middlesex campus.
