Middlesea Insurance plc is once again supporting Paqpaqli għall-Istrina and participating in the national charity event with the aim of raising funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund.
It will also be giving car enthusiasts the opportunity to admire a variety of beautiful cars. The event is taking place next Sunday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Malta International Airport, including the Lufthansa Technik apron.
This year’s main attraction will be the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, which, at a maximum speed of 431 km/h, is the world’s fastest convertible. Other attractions will be the show by motorcycle stunt rider Angyal Zoltan, as well as the Toyota Hilux Arctic Challenge, the car used by Top Gear to reach the North Pole.
Hundreds of other vehicles will also be on display during the day, including Aston Martins, Jaguars, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, along with a number of modified and customised cars, trucks, classic cars and motorcycles, and an aircraft exhibition.
The 11th edition of Paqpaqli għall-Istrina was launched at Verdala Palace by President George Abela. Christopher Borg, vice-president, Corporate Affairs, Middlesea Insurance, said the company was happy to support this event in line with its corporate social responsibility programme.
