As part of Microsoft Malta’s latest campaign to promote its Windows 8 software and devices, Windows 8 Upgrade packs were presented to Mark Hyzler, Martin Gerry and Michaela Micallef after they attended activities and successfully took part in competitions during the campaign.

Featuring flash mobs by musicians from the Big Band Brothers, the month-long campaign was hosted over four consecutive weekends at the Embassy Cinemas, The Point shopping mall and at Bay Street, and encouraged people to experience the new and revolutionary software first-hand, utilising Windows 8 devices.

“Besides giving us the opportunity to meet our customers and listen to their views and opinions about Microsoft’s new Windows 8, the month-long campaign also enabled us to promote our range of Windows 8 devices, which include tablets, laptops, slates and desktops,” said Jacqueline Harvey from Microsoft Malta.

“During these events, those who experienced Windows 8 for the first time were pleasantly surprised by the new form factors and touch capabilities of Windows 8, as well as by the fun in personalising one’s desktop or device according to the applications and games most used.

“We also wanted to surprise weekend shoppers with an event which gave them an opportunity to win,” added Ms Harvey.
