A planning authority officer will be at the government’s one-stop shop for businesses once a week to help clients check the status of their applications.

The officer will be at the Business First office in Pietà every Friday morning to provide basic guidance to businesses for the rest of the week, according to Malta Enterprise.

This move reflects the commitment to monitor and analyse clients’ feedback to see what services were required and, where possible, start offering such services, it said.

More than 3,700 contacts were made by clients with Business First since it was set up in January. It is open on weekdays between 8.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
