Three men pleaded guilty to stealing gold, money and fish yesterday.

Christopher Schembri, 30, of Sliema admitted he stole various items, including gold and cash, and caused wilful damage last October and in the preceding months.

Mr Schembri also pleaded guilty to relapsing. He is being held at Corradino Correctional Facility until a pre-sentencing report is concluded.

Geoffrey Spiteri and Kenneth Gauci, both 36 of Dingli, admitted stealing fish from a boat on Friday and being in possession of stolen goods.

They were granted bail pending sentencing.

All three men appeared before Magistrate Gabriella Vella. Police Inspector Chris-topher Pullicino prosecuted in both cases.
