It is on record that a memorial was erected at the Msida Bastion Cemetery in memory of the 61 crew members of the HMS Queen who died of cholera between 1849 and 1850. The memorial was said to consist of a pillar on which the names of the crew members were inscribed with a statue nearby.

No trace of it has been found, and if anyone has any record of it or perhaps photos of it I would be very grateful to see them. In fact, any old photos of this cemetery would be very welcome.
