I refer to the letter entitled ‘Price increase’ by Ian Vella from Swatar (The Sunday Times of Malta, January 5), which with I am in total agreement.

When I complained to one of the outlets representing Melita in Ta’ l-Ibraġ, there were already three other people arguing that they were not interested in an increased internet speed and wanted to retain the same arrangement.

I sent an e-mail to Melita, informing them that I did not accept their new marketing strategy and that I wanted to terminate our agreement.

I will now be moving to another service provider offering a family pack which, besides internet also includes a TV silver package and telephony with a saving of 16 per cent on what I was paying before.

Sometimes certain circumstances make us look outside the box and for other exising offers on the market.
