Computer systems company Megabyte has launched Micros-Fidelio Ovation, a complete point-of-sale solution with tools for restaurant operations and guest services. The solution has been specifically packagedand priced for small to medium-sized cateringestablishments.

The Micros Ovation product was launched at Megabyte’s Mosta premises at an event themed ‘Best in Glass-Best in Class’, which included a hands-on workshop and wine-tasting session for catering establishment owners.

Megabyte’s head of hospitality business unit Kevin Micallef gave an overview of the new Micros Ovation. The restaurant system avoided the need for managers having to sit behind a computer working between multiple systems to get their job done. Micros Ovation offered a holistic, scalable system, built according to the requirements of the catering establishment.

Business development manager Sarah Gusman introduced the three different Micros Ovation packages, which are fully customisable to the establishment’s requirements.

Philippe Martinet from Philippe Martinet Fine Wines later led a wine-tasting session featuring various reds and whites.

The event is the first of a series of hands-on workshops to be organised by Megabyte to further promote Micros Ovation for all small-to-medium catering establishments.
