The fifth Mdina Medieval Festival starts tomorrow, promising to offer everything related to the era, from sword fights to falconry.
Medieval music, an illusionist, and parades will be prevalent across the Silent City while museums will be open throughout the day offering non-stop entertainment.
Speaking at the launch of the annual festival, Culture Parliamentary Secretary José Herrera said the Government fully supported such initiatives.
He said Mdina’s unique character was strengthened through such events, adding it was also a tangible way for children and adults alike to learn about their medieval heritage.
Mdina mayor Peter Dei Conti Sant Manduca said the tourist attractions will be extending their opening hours and a number of exhibitions will be held in chapels.
