Twenty-nine foreign doctors and nurses working in Malta have completed their training in the Maltese language.

The training was organised by the Centre for Development, Research and Training (Training and Development Directorate) in the Office of the Prime Minister in collaboration with the Health Ministry’s Human Resources Department.

The programme, aimed at enhancing communication skills with patients, took place between October 2012 and April. The participants were awarded a certificate following an assessment.
