I refer to the article titled Opposition Proposes Committee On Libya (May 3) specifically to the part where it stated that “Medelec Switchgear Ltd had started to work on a four-day week”. By the term four-day week it is commonly understood that employees attend work four days per week and get proportionately reduced wages. Medelec is not working in this manner at least up to end May. Our employees attend work for four days and the fifth day is part of their leave entitlement. Therefore they are still getting their full wages.
