I was disappointed, while preparing some receipts for the fiscal receipts lottery, that three of them, within two days, were ineligible for entry.

The receipts in question are from restaurants and a cafe visited on January 10 and 11. They do not have a date printed on them, which renders them useless for lottery purposes, but they do have printed “Not a fiscal receipt”.

Why are these issued instead of the fiscal receipts?

Frustrating in particular are the potentially high returns should I have been lucky with the draw. The amounts: €76.50 from Gozo, €95.35 from Malta and €3.80 from a cafe, also in Gozo.
