Civilised human beings have always sought to distinguish between different types of species by allocating a unique name for each.

There exists 60 species of oak wood and over 300 other names to distinguish different types of mahogany, walnut, teak and rosewood. Over a million names have been given to flora and fauna and over 25,000 names given to different types of fish. Common sense dictates that one specific name is given for one specific plant or animal.

Our commercial law prohibits the use of any brand name, if the name is already in use, even if it remotely similar.

However, some brainless individuals who lack reason and moral and ethical behaviour are finding idiotic excuses in pushing forward the use of the word ‘marriage’ for a type of abnormal human relationship other than that between a man and a woman for which the word  ‘marriage’ has been used for centuries.

What idiocy we have to endure.
