A 46-year-old man of Valletta was injured while driving in December 13 Road, Marsa, yesterday afternoon.

The police said that, though serious, his injuries are not life-threatening. The incident occurred as the man lost control of his Fiat Brava which crashed violently against a tree. Personnel from the Civil Protection Department were called to the accident spot to free the injured man from the wrecked car.
