The two trophies won by Manchester City last season, the Barclays Premier League and the Capital One (League) Cup, will be in Malta on January 25, the Manchester City Supporters Club Malta said.

Club members and English football enthusiasts can see the trophies at the Cactus Bar in Bugibba where the supporters club is based.

The trophies will be brought over by three distinguished guests – former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Corrigan, ex-winger Peter Barnes and Kevin Parker, general Secretary of the Manchester City Football Club Supporters Club (1949).

Corrigan and Barnes are both former England internationals.

More details on the January 25 event will be announced closer to the date, the club said.

On the final day of the 2013-14 English Premier League season, Manchester City beat West Ham United 2-0 at home to finish with 86 points, two ahead of second-placed Liverpool, and claim the championship title for a fourth time in their history.

Manchester City lifted the League Cup after a 3-1 defeat of Sunderland in the final at Wembley Stadium. That was the Blues’ first League Cup triumph since 1976 and their third overall.
