A 22-year-old man yesterday admitted to breaking into a Fgura house and stealing over €2,000 worth of items including jewellery, cash and guns. Magistrate Miriam Hayman heard Keith Felice, of Tarxien, admit to the charges. He was charged with breaking into the residence between July 6 and 8 and stealing.

The magistrate put off the case for judgement and ordered that a pre-sentencing report be compiled in the meantime.

Mr Felice was remanded in police custody.

Police Inspectors Fabian Fleri and Jurgen Vella prosecuted.
