On Saturday lunchtime, my partner was taken ill on the street in Attard. A couple with a young child were kind enough to approach us and take us to the Mosta polyclinic where my partner was seen and recovered. If the couple had not done so (and, indeed, advised us about where to2 go) it would have taken us much longer to get care and would have caused us prolonged suffering and anxiety.

In the confusion, I did not get their names and I would therefore like to express our heartfelt thanks to them through the pages of the Times of Malta. Their kindness was a fine example of the famous Maltese hospitality and we are most grateful to them.

We would also like to thank the staff of the Mosta polyclinic for their very prompt and professional care and attention.
