Two popular Maltese folk compositions were among the pieces executed by the St Julians Choral Group at an annual concert for choirs in Italy.

The group took part in the concert in Montecchio Maggiore, in the province of Vicenza, as part of an exchange programme that will bring the Italian choir Coro La Sisilla to Malta in late April.

In Italy, the St Julians Choral Group, directed by Pio Dalli, sang mainly popular choral works by Maltese composers, including Btaj-jel and L-Imnarja by Carmelo Pace.
