Several Maltese diving schools together with the Malta Tourism Authority representative in Paris, Claude Zammit Trevisan, recently participated in the Paris International Dive Show.

Ambassador of Malta to France Pierre Clive Agius visited the fair and met the Maltese participants.

He also addressed the president and members of the Fédération Française d’Etudes et de Sports sous-Marins, co-organisers of the fair.

The ambassador said Malta had become a privileged partner of the federation and offered a high-quality product that was recognised worldwide.

This made Malta an impor-tant diving destination in the Mediterranean.

The federation’s monthly magazine Subaqua displayed its reportage on diving in Malta and Gozo.

The Salon de la Plongée, or the Paris International Dive Show, is one of the biggest fairs in Europe.
