The Malta U-17 squad will head out to Finland tomorrow to take part in a qualifying round tournament for the 2016 UEFA U-17 Championship.

David Nascimento, the MFA youth head coach, and Sergio Soldano, who is in charge of the Malta U-17 team, yesterday named an 18-man squad for the four-team competition, kicking off this Thursday.

Malta open their commitments against Sweden on Thursday before taking on the Republic of Ireland in their second game on Saturday.

Their final match is against hosts Finland tomorrow week.
