The Malta FA’s website, www.mfa.com.mt, has received a much-needed facelift.

Designed by internet specialists Untangled Media Limited, the enhanced web portal provides informative and up-to-date content with greater emphasis on visuals and interactivity with the users.

Featuring a horizontal navigation bar and dropdown menus, mfa.com.mt is divided into several sections encompassing virtually all areas of the Malta FA.

“Technology has made massive strides and certainly no organisation can afford to be left behind,” Bjorn Vassallo, the MFA CEO, said.

“We are today launching our new website which should enable us to get our message across to the public and for the public to get closer to the association.

“In the last few months, we have been working hand-in-hand with Untangled Media to upgrade our website and transform it into a web portal that offers up-to-date information about the various subjects relating to the MFA.”

The new features of the MFA web portal include live score updates, a fanzone, a webshop and specific news features.

Also yesterday, the MFA launched its official Facebook page.... Malta Football Association – 1900. Vassallo used the occasion to urge all members of the local football family to use the social media sensibly and responsibly.

Vassallo said the website project, spearheaded by MFA vice-president Alex Manfré and Norman Saliba, the MFA head of marketing, represents another significant investment but stressed that the association must adapt to the changing times.
