The Malta FA Refereeing Department have reached an exchange agreement with their Andorran counterparts.

Referee Fyodor Zammit and assistant referees Luke Portelli and Emanuel Grech will be travelling to Andorra to take charge of the championship play-off match between FC Santa Coloma and UE Santa Julia, being played this Sunday.

Refereeing officer Silvio Tanti will accompany the trio in the first of two referee exchanges with Andorra this season. Salusta Chato has been appointed referee observer for the Maltese match officials.

Zammit, Portelli and Grech attended the UEFA Centre of Refereeing Excellence (CORE) introductory course last October and are currently preparing for the consolidation course next month.

Match officials from Andorra will be in Malta the following weekend.

FIFA referee Ignasi Villamayor, assisted by Manuel Nogueira and Volodymyr Litosh, will officiate the Premier League match between Valletta and Tarxien on April 21.

Officiating alongside world-renowned Spanish referee Fernando Gutierrez Lumbrera, Cachia was awarded 8.4 in Turkey-Slovenia, 8.6 in Slovenia-Ukraine and 8.5 in Ukraine-Turkey.
