Malta International Airport will be refunding the landing fees to all scheduled airlines for all the winter months.

The fees will be refunded for the November to March period, an initiative that will cost around €1.4 million in lost revenue.

This measure, aimed at encouraging airlines to retain flight operations throughout winter, was first introduced in 2011.
