Eurovision winner Loreen arrived in Malta yesterday for tonight’s concert where she plans to belt out Euphoria, the song that shot her to fame, and other hits.
She was soon submerged in a sea of journalists after emerging into the airport’s arrivals lounge wearing John Lennonesque sunglasses, leather jacket and leather leggings. It turned out the Swedish pop star came to Malta three years ago but this is her first time here to sing – and she was happy to be back.
When asked about her opinion of the Maltese, she smiled and said she thought they were “beautiful”. She said her life had changed drastically after winning May’s Eurovision Song Contest and was having more fun than ever before.
Loreen said she was looking forward to tonight’s concert and her fans should expect a great show at Ta’ Qali’s Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, where she will be performing new songs as well as older ones.
