Students got to see their school from a whole new angle yesterday as they abseiled down its walls during an open day held to raise money for charity. They also got to enjoy the grounds of their Mrieħel school with the rest of their families through several activities that included walking, jogging, a car show, bike rides and a BMX show, abseiling, dog training demonstrations, pony rides, a demonstration of first aid and a fire engine, a pet show, a bazaar and an athletic seminar. This was the 23rd edition of the fundraiser organised at St Theresa College Girls’ Secondary in conjunction with Gestfest in support of the Community Chest Fund, Caritas, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, The Ladybird Foundation and the school benevolent fund.
