It seems that our council in Sliema has failed to produce and see to the needs of our town. Why? Is it maybe lack of management and experience within the councillors? I do not know.

However, one thing I do know for a fact is that Sliema is a Nationalist Party stronghold. Yet we are met with very young people, or should I say children, who are running for the next Sliema council election, when they probably don’t even know how to run a family or a company let alone a town to see to our needs. Is this the best the PN has to offer us people in Sliema?

One of the major issues in Sliema is the parking problem. But no political party has offered a solution. This time I will not vote, for it’s a complete waste of time and money. Why should I pay tax to pay for someone who is not doing his job?

This whole system is a complete joke from both sides. That is why I will not vote for the Sliema council whoever they are. It’s a complete waste of time and public resources.
