I have just finished reading Lino Cutajar’s autobiography In At The Deep End. It is very informative, and the part concerning his time in Malta is a historical record which is truthful and not at all biased.

The Malta aspect is ideal as local history for young people and the other parts contain interesting information about Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea, the United Arab Emirates and much more.

It would make sense for the Department of Education to consider the possibility of adding the book to its curriculum for schools.
