Replying to John Gullaimer’s letter, I believe he is a very honest man in questioning the total inability of the saints in heaven to help human beings in distress. He himself describes the destruction of Christian churches and the Christians praying within them during the Lisbon earthquake. Nobody and nothing came down from heaven to help them in their time of need.

Answer: the gods and the goddesses, or angels and saints in their various higher dimensions or higher states of mind are so pure that they look down upon humanity and feel that human beings are dirty, foul and filthy, stinking low lives whose place is rightly in this miserable world, a veritable hell created by human beings themselves through their constant lying, cheating, stealing and torturing and murdering others, their own brothers and sisters, including the innocent animals and Mother Nature herself.

To be able to contact those higher beings is extremely difficult for any human being as one has to become pure in both heart and mind, like little, innocent children. In fact, the Saviour of the Christians,  Jesus himself, is reported to have said: “Verily, verily I tell you, unless you become like little children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
