Most monuments and historical buildings are marked and lit up at night but the island of St Paul’s is left in the dark.

Would it not be appropriate to have the remarkable monument marking nearly 2,000 years of our history given some exposure at night? Everybody can see it during the day.

Notice has been given to different authorities, including the local councils of St Paul’s Bay and Mellieħa, as the island falls within the confines of the latter.

I do hope that some action will be taken soon.
