Lifecyclists got a good night’s sleep yesterday after a short but tough 130-kilometre ride to a barn in Bathurst on their sixth day in the Australia challenge.

Although it was a shorter distance, the route included steep hills and hot weather.

Unfortunately, their number dropped again as one rider had to leave due to an injury. There are now 22 left.

The team is on a 1,900-kilometre bike ride from Brisbane to Melbourne to raise funds for Mater Dei’s Renal Unit.
