Levi Johnston, who fathered a child with the daughter of former US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is writing a revealing book about the controversial Republican and her family.
Touchstone Publishing has an autumn publication date for Mr Johnston’s book, Deer In The Headlights: My Life In Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs.
Mr Johnston, 20, fathered a child with the former Alaska governor’s daughter Bristol Palin when they were teenagers. The pregnancy was announced days after Ms Palin was selected as the 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate.
The couple broke up after the birth of their son Tripp and reconciled briefly.
Mr Johnston, who has had a contentious relationship with the Palins, says the book will “tell the truth” about that relationship, including his “sense of Sarah and my perplexing fall from grace”.
He said he was doing it “for me, for my boy Tripp and the country”.
