I refer to the letter ‘Clarity needed on ARMS bills’, penned by Paul Russell (November 25).
ARMS takes this opportunity to explain to readers the technical procedure of how bills are issued.
Bills may feature an ‘A’, denoting they are actual readings, or an ‘E’, denoting it is an estimate. In the case where readings are not available, the bill is issued bearing the letter ‘N’ – no reading. However, customers do have an option if they want to avoid the no reading bill.
Anyone can use our online services and input the actual readings himself. It is simple. Log on through our portal www.smartutilities.com.mt and click on the Submit My Readings window. The system will automatically offer you a window frame to enter your readings.
Registering for a user ID and password is easy and free of charge.
Clients on the Feed In Tariff are to kindly provide the readings by calling our Freephone: 8007 2222.
